The Studio Model Beveling Machine (SB-810) can bevel pieces of glass up to fourteen inches in length (a piece of glass that can be held comfortably in your hands). Two people can work on the machine at one time, producing a total of two linear inches per minute. The extremely flexible Studio Model Beveling Machine lets you handle everything from straight-line bevels to the tightest of inside curves. You can produce brilliant cutwork, surface notching, honeycomb work and mitering. Create custom jewels or glass sculptures. Edge pieces of thick glass to fit into came. Do your own cutoffs. This versatile machine is a great addition to any professional glass studio.
The Studio Model Beveling Machine runs on a powerful 115 volt, one-third horsepower motor (variable speed
optional). The one-inch stainless steel shaft is set in the finest quality lifetime-lubricated roller bearings. Comes fully plumbed with knife-edge sprayers, standard hose connector and drain hose. The splash tray is ruggedly constructed of high impact molded polymer. The Studio Beveler can be set on your worktable or purchased with an optional stand. Built to accommodate four vertical wheels (one for each stage of the beveling process). The 8" (20cm) wheels are primarily used for straight lines and outside curves while the 4" (10cm) wheels are recommended for tight inside curves. The SB-810 is offered as a base machine void of wheels, or pick one of our complete set ups in either electroplated or bonded diamond versions. Foreign voltages are available; please specify your requirements when ordering.
